In the late 60's, he was in charge of formulating and creating products for the father of aromatherapy, Dr Valnet. Later on, he created formulas for "La Vie Claire" and "L'Herbier de Provence" which he ended up running.

With his long lasting passion for plants and nature, he started to develop a unique expertise in his formulas which led him to master the harmonious blend between efficiency and natural.

Isabelle was raised by her « avant-garde » grandmother who was passionate about yoga, macrobiotic diets and natural remedies. Her education taught her the importance of a healthy, authentic, natural way of life. After graduating from high school, Isabelle decided to undertake a training course in perfume creation at « Cinquième Sens » in Compiègne, where she earned the title of “nose".

Isabelle started her professional career at IFAS in 1985. She was in charge of the research and development department for prestigious cosmetic brands. She then fine-tuned her skills working in several companies, including Herbier de Provence and La Vie Claire. Later on, Isabelle started working at Cosmetonic, where she met Jean-Max Duraffourd. Together, they created BioLab in 1997.

Her passion for essential oils, food supplements and the powerful virtues of plants, resulted in her making appearances on several home shopping TV channels. Between 1987 and 2002, she appeared on « Antenne 2 » (which later became « France 2 »), in the Health & Beauty section on « Matin Bonheur » (TF1-M6) and eventually on QVC Germany.
